PDR 2020 - APRODER - Open Applications

Applications for APRODER support are open (in the locations of Azambuja, Cartaxo, Rio Maior and Santarém, with the exception of part of the urban core of the city of Santarém) in the context of diversifying activities and small investments in agricultural holdings.

1- Diversification of Activities in Agricultural Exploration
Its objective is to invest in the diversification of activities on the farm for non-agricultural activities, up to a maximum of € 200,000 in investment (minimum of € 10,000), with the tender notice as priorities:

The. Encourage the development, on agricultural holdings, of activities other than the production, processing or marketing of agricultural products provided for in Annex I to the TFEU, creating new sources of income and employment.
B. Contribute directly to the maintenance or improvement of the household's income, the settlement of the population, the occupation of the territory and the strengthening of the rural economy.

Eligible PPAs: 55202,55204, 553, 559, 93293, 91042, 93294, 16292, 23411, 56101, 85510, 93192, with the exception of PPA 03. In PPAs in division 01, service activities related to agriculture (01610) or with forestry and forestry (024). More details in the contest notice.

Expenses related to the activities to be carried out are eligible, namely: project elaboration; remodeling / restoration of buildings; small-scale constructions; acquisition of equipment; vehicles indispensable for the good execution of the project; other type of expenses associated with intangible investments. Maintenance costs resulting from normal use of the facilities are not eligible.

Non-reimbursable incentive up to 40% of eligible expenses, this limit being 50% when jobs are created. Limit of an amount of support per beneficiary of € 150,000 during the programming period. The aid granted will be in accordance with Reg. (EU) 1407/2013 on de minimis aid.


2 - Small Investments in Agricultural Exploration
Its objective is to support small investments in agricultural holdings up to a maximum of € 40,000 in investment (minimum of € 1,000), with the call for tenders as priorities:

The. Promote the improvement of farmers' living, working and production conditions.
B. Contribute to the process of modernization and training of companies in the agricultural sector.

Investments in the installation of permanent crops irrigated on land adjacent to irrigation perimeters of Hydro-Agricultural Plants are not permitted, when they have a precarious source of water.

Expenses associated with tangible, small-scale investments necessary for the development of agricultural production activity are eligible, namely machinery, equipment, small agricultural and livestock buildings, small multi-annual plantations, including support for theft prevention equipment. Mere replacement investments are not eligible. Land acquisition is not eligible costs.

Support is granted for investments up to € 25,000, in the form of non-refundable grants:
- 50% of the eligible investment if the farm is located in a less developed region or an area with natural or other specific conditions;
- 40% of eligible investment in other regions, limited to € 25,000 per beneficiary during the programming period.
